Super Nature, the famous Chinese interactive design studio, has exhibited a new installation called “The Windcatcher”. This virtual machine represents the flow of air in motion. It is designed to translate wind energy into a tangible reality. While offering a new understanding of Mother Nature’s forces, “The Windcatcher” brings the visitor back to his childhood, dreams and memories.
Founded by three Chinese designers, Billy Wen Hao, Lin Yew and Yeoh Guan Hong, Super Nature is a multi-disciplinary design company. It specialises in interactive design, visual communication and media technologies. It takes on challenges through experimentations in new media and physical computing.
