
Xiaoyong is a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA – 中央美术学院) and a famous graphic designer in China. His best success was his design of the Beijing Olympics medals in 2008.

Along his career, he has been awarded more than 40 times. Here are some examples of his work:

Logo for Design Resources Cooperation DRC
DRC is innitiated by Beijing Industrial Design Centre in collabration with CAFA.

Logo for China-France Culture year in 2003
The logo depicts the cultural relationship between China and France, rooted from the Orient and the West. The colorful lines inspired from the earth and time, spanning and abstracted forms of the Great Wall and Eifel tower.

Logo for Beijing Urban Planning Exhibition, May 2004
Using the Chinese elements of the gate, the city shape, Character of People, represents the humanistic touch of urban planning and openness of Beijing. Beijing Urban Planning Museum is located in the S.E. of Tiananmen square in downtown of Beijing.


Anti-SARS Poster
Shows the positive changes and uses the Chinese character « fei» 非 that means « SARS» and is understandable by Chinese people.
Identity for Olympic Art and Research Centre
Xiaoyong chaired the Identity project including the logo for Olympic Art and Research Centre in CAFA Beijing. Since 2003, Xiaoyong has been involved in some projects with the Centre links closely with BOCOG, the organisation of Beijing 2008.
